FootGolf Event Photo Album

On Saturday, August 20, 2016 Glendoveer Golf & Tennis was host for our Annual FootGolf Tournament benefiting Active Children Portland presented by adidas, Soccer Shots, and Chipotle. Rules of FootGolf correspond with the rules of golf yet with the energy of soccer.  This new event is a great way to get outside and have fun while supporting a worthwhile cause. It was a truly great event.

RAISE 2016

Took place on Friday, April 29, 2016 7:00 pm at Key Club at Providence Park for the Active Children Portland RAISE event.

RAISE 2016 is the largest fundraising event for Active Children Portland.  In 2015, we raised over $40,000 and our goal for 2016 is $50,000. The dollars go toward developing after-school programming for under-served children at 17 Portland schools and our goal is to expand the program to provide assistance to 1094 children. It is an evening of good food, drink and good times.

Portland Timbers coach Caleb Porter was in attendance with two Portland Timbers players and the MLS Cup.

Our silent auction had many amazing things to bid on such as:

  • A 2016’s Tottenham Hotspurs signed game jersey.  Jersey is signed by every member of the team
  • A Damian Lillard 2015 signed All-Star jersey
  • A condo for a week in Cabo
  • Golf for (4) at Pumpkin Ridge Ghost Creek/Pumpkin Ridge hats for your foursome/Nike golf bag/Nike balls
  • Portland Timbers, Portland Thorns memorabilia
  • 2016 Portland Trailblazers autographed basketbal
  • Wine tour at Murray Hill Winery for 8 people
  • Many more items that are arriving daily

Active Children Portland honored Mike Golub (Portland Timbers President of Business Operations) and the Stand Together team with the Active Children Portland Community Advocate Award.
